It is recommended that you consider buying your pedestal table from a store near you though, because shipping costs may make the pedestal table almost more expensive than buying it in person from a store.

Another thing to look out for is the material that it is made of. Harder and more expensive woods can cost more money, but will be more durable and last much longer, so if you are looking to buy a pedestal table that you will keep for a long time, then it might be a better idea to go a little more expensive.

Also, because of the single column that is holding up the entire table, it would be a good idea, when you are checking the pedestal table out, to shake it and make sure it is not prone to falling over!

So in case of rings on the wood, or scratches, or even major damage, many furniture stores will repair the chair for you, or even provide you with a brand new one in some circumstances!
